Key Responsibilities

As a Commercial HVAC Estimator/Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in our projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Develop and track project schedules, manage deadlines, subcontractors, change orders, permits, and bonds.
  • Estimation and Sales: Accurately estimate commercial projects from blueprints to inception. Engage in business development, including cold calling, referrals, and maintaining customer relationships to drive service agreements, quoted repairs, and project sales.
  • Cost Control: Establish project cost controls for tracking equipment, materials, labor, tools, subcontracts, and miscellaneous costs.
  • Site Inspection and Compliance: Inspect job sites regularly to ensure contract compliance, workmanship, and safety.
  • Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and other team members. Maintain sales records and customer information.
  • Warranty Management: Follow up on any required warranty work to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Experience in commercial HVAC estimation and sales.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to find new customers through cold calling, referrals, and other sales methods.
  • Knowledge of contract compliance, permitting requirements, and job site safety.
  • Proficiency in organizing and assembling data for reports and presentations.
